8 Traits of People Who Bounce
Back From Setbacks
Successful men and women share a
little known set of common personality traits that help them
bounce back from failures.
Just ask wealthy men like Donald
Trump, Bob Parsons and Bob Johnson.
Here’s eight traits of people
who bounced back from bankruptcy, foreclosure, layoffs and
office closures.
1. Be Persistent
You must have the, “Never Give Up,” attitude and mentality in
spite of the obstacles, barriers and setbacks. Successful
people are persistent; they find a way to make it happen.
2. Dream Big!
Successful people always see the “big picture.” Did know that
it literally takes the same energy to dream big as it does to
dream small? Make the switch and your life will change.
3. Stay Focused
Oftentimes people miss out on
success because they are mentally scattered; they dream of
winning in real estate, Internet marketing, a musical career
and, and and… Before you can rise to the top, you’ve got to
be focused on which top you are aiming for.
4. Stay Informed
In today’s market, staying
informed of market trends, data, events and fads that impact
your earnings are critical to your success.
5. Think Fast
Movers and shakers are quick
decision makers; they know how important timing is to
success. They are able to make decisions rather fast because
they stay informed.
6. Be Passionate!
There is an old axiom, “Do what
you love and love what you do!” Successful people are
passionate about what they do. If you are not passionate
about you vision, you’re most likely in the wrong place.
Find your spot in life and get going!
7. Be a Risk Taker
Ever heard the saying, “The
higher the risk, the greater the return.” If you did an
analysis of successful people, you’d find that almost all of
them are calculated risk takers.
8. Attract Success
If you want to be successful,
one overlooked starting point is attracting successful
people around you. Remember these two sayings? “Success
breeds success and birds of a feather flock together.” You
become what you attract. Are you surrounding yourself with
goal oriented people?
If you don’t currently have
these traits, the good news is, you can cultivate them!
Start by looking in the mirror and telling yourself that the
man or woman in the mirror will succeed. Now go out and
dream big, be passionate, stay focused, be persistent, think
and act decisively and you will bounce back from any setback
or failure.
